Course content:

 As part of these water birth preparation and prenatal aquagym classes, I will accompany you in your pregnancy by offering you a privileged moment to relax and strengthen your physical condition in anticipation of childbirth. I will answer any questions you may have regarding your pregnancy, your health, the birth itself or the future birth of your child.

You can start prenatal aquatic classes whenever you want, from 12 weeks of pregnancy. With the agreement of your midwife or your gynecologist of course.

You do not need a doctor's prescription. 

You can follow physiotherapy sessions in parallel without amputating the sessions of one or the other discipline. These are 2 different areas that do not interfere with each other.

The lesson takes place in a private swimming pool where the water is to 32°C.

The maximum number of participants is 5 mothers.

 It consists of 3 parts:

 1.    Aquagym (+/-40 min):

 The exercises offered are suitable for pregnancy.

Immersed up to the shoulders, you weigh only 10% of your weight in the water. This allows you to perform movements that you could no longer perform outside of it.

Moreover, thewater to 32°C prevents any risk of muscle tearing or pressure on the joints. It also has an effect comparable to lymphatic drainage and therefore has a beneficial effect on water retention and heavy legs.

 2.     Preparation for childbirth (+/-10 min):

 Each week, alternately,  I will work with you either on breathing during contractions or on pushing out. My goal is for these to become automatic on the day of delivery, in complete autonomy. This will allow your partner to take his full place with you.

This preparation can also help you gain self-confidence that will turn out to be positive on D-Day.

 3.     Relaxation (+/-10min):

 The session ends with a moment of intense relaxation where you can feel what your baby can experience thanks to floating.
